Quintin and Chester
Quintin and Chester are two striking boys with big personalities, deep history, and a bond that’s hard to ignore.
Quintin is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd with a stunning merle coat and an intelligent, sensitive nature. He loves water, swimming, and grooming sessions, and he’s lived comfortably with other dogs. Quintin can be a little unsure in new situations due to past experiences, and he may try to assert himself socially at first, but underneath that is a dog who bonds deeply once he feels safe. He’s been around kids, hasn’t met cats yet, and will thrive with calm, patient introductions and a predictable routine.
Chester is a 5-year-old Border Collie / German Shepherd cross with a steady, expressive personality. He can be trusted off leash, has lived with other dogs, and has also lived with cats and children. Chester may bark and howl when meeting new animals, but this is more his way of processing uncertainty than aggression—and he settles well once he understands the situation. He also enjoys grooming and connecting with his people.
These two have lived together since Quintin was just a puppy, and there is a real familiarity between them. They read each other well, and that shared history shows in the way they coexist.
Ideally, they would go together into a home that understands their bond and can offer structure, patience, and gentle guidance as they adjust. That said, we are open to separating them if the right individual homes come forward—what matters most is finding each of them a stable, loving place where they can relax and be themselves.
At this time, both boys are medically healthy with no concerns.
If you’re looking for loyalty, personality, and two dogs who will reward patience with deep connection, Quintin and Chester are ready for their next chapter.
