Meet Nugget. This one year old male is a very unique looking dog. Weighing in at 27 lbs, he has the body shape of a Corgi but looks like a Spaniel type dog. Due to his fur, he will require regular grooming. Nugget has only been in rescue for 10 days but he has clearly demonstrated his preferences. He loves laying outside in the snow and loves to go into the water. He likes to be with his human as much as possible. He likes both men and women with a slight inclination towards women. He is a bit shy upon meeting new people but with proper socialization this should be easy to change. He does NOT like cats. He likes some dogs, females mostly, and will respond in kind if another dog is reactive to him.
We would prefer that Nugget move from rescue to his forever family. The potential adopter would foster until Nugget has finished all of his vetting which should be done by April 11, 2022.
