Adopting

I’m an 8 year old very energetic blue heeler/Australian shepherd/border collie. i need a family who can give me the 1 on 1 I need. My genetics make me want to herd so sometimes I can nip at people’s ankles. I need a furever family who is ready to train me to trust people and to not herd people.. I need some work with walking on a leash as there is so much out there that I want to smell.  I have been working on loose leash walking. I absolutely love running around and chewing sticks. I’m not an aggressive eater, you can fill the bowl and i will pick at it whenever I want. I also love to snuggle and sleep as close as possible to you. I want an active family preferably with no young children as I do tend to herd. I came from a home where I lived with 2 Alaskan malamutes and we were all best friends. My foster family loves me because I am a relaxed dog.  I greet people at the door with a bark or two and then stop.  I need a special family who are willing to be patient, kind, and provide the training I still need.
