Adopting

I’m a 2-year-old Miniature Husky looking for a foster-to-adopt home. Right now I’m still waiting to be neutered, so I’ll start as a foster-to-adopt and then make things official once that’s done!

If you’re looking for a couch potato, I should probably introduce you to someone else. I’m a Husky, after all. That means I’m smart, energetic, sometimes stubborn, and always ready for an adventure. My dream home is with someone who enjoys getting outside, whether that’s hiking, running, exploring trails, or just keeping up with my busy little legs.

Don’t let my size fool you—I may be a Miniature Husky, but I still come with full-sized Husky energy. I need plenty of exercise and things to keep my brain busy.

When it comes to people? I am a huge fan. Seriously, I LOVE people. New friends are one of my favorite things. I also get along with other dogs, though I appreciate slow introductions so I can get comfortable first.

A few things about me:

House trained

Dog friendly with proper introductions

Cats are an unknown

Walk pretty nicely on a leash (I’m still learning, but I’m trying!)

Very affectionate

Apparently toys are a thing, but I haven’t quite figured out why everyone is so excited about them

Like many Huskies, I may have a high prey drive, so a home without small animals may be best. I also come equipped with a fluffy double coat and enough fur to keep your vacuum employed full-time.

What I’m really looking for is someone who understands my breed, embraces my energy, and wants a loyal sidekick for all of life’s adventures.
