I’m a terrier mix, roughly 3 years old, with a gentle heart and a quiet soul.

When you first meet me, I can be a little shy. I like to take my time getting to know new people and new places. I may hang back at first and watch from a distance, but once I know I’m safe, you’ll discover that I’m just a sweet girl looking for love.

I don’t have a mean bone in my body.

Once I’m comfortable, I love to curl up beside my people and enjoy a good snuggle. I’m not the type to demand attention every second of the day. I’m happy to simply be near you, enjoying your company and feeling included.

I’ve lived around both cats and dogs and get along well with them. While I enjoy having animal friends around, I’m not much of a player. I’m more of an independent girl who likes to do things at her own pace and march to the beat of her own drum.

I came into rescue with my mom, and if someone happens to be looking for two wonderful dogs, we’d certainly love to be considered together. That said, I’m a big girl now and am perfectly capable of starting my next chapter on my own. My mom and I don’t need to be adopted together—I just wanted you to know she’s here too.

I’m currently looking for a foster-to-adopt home while I wait for my spay appointment. Once I’m spayed, my adoption can be finalized.

What I’m hoping for most is a patient family who will give me a little time to settle in and show them who I really am. I may be shy at first, but behind that quiet exterior is a loving companion who just wants a place to belong.
